World silver for Norway

Norway won World Cup silver medal in the mixed relay in Khanty Mansiysk. Germany won, while Sweden took bronze.

Germany finished 1 minute and 24 seconds ahead of Norway. Winning team looked was: Simone Hauswald, Magdalena Neuner, Simon Schempp and Arnd Peiffer was superior.

The battle for gold was never really exciting, after the German women went crazy fast in the slot and shot by far.

This silver was the best we could achieve today. Germany was superb and won a fully deserved win, while we struggled on skis that were not quite the top. That is changing fast here, for in Saturday’s individual run we skied very well, “said Ole Einar Bjørndale.
