Why I read The Norwegian American

We are happy to share what our readers have to say about our newspaper:

Sunnie Empie

Within an hour of pulling The Norwegian American out of my rural mailbox, I ceremoniously brew a fresh cuppa coffee, find a Norwegian pastry, rabarbrakake, or brune pinner, and settle in to read cover to cover. Koselig? Coffee, pastry and The Norwegian American go together, like Leif & Sunnie’s accordions.

Leif especially likes Ola and Per. Current news, arts, culture brighten our days, take the edge off “not normal” news. Where else could we find well-written articles about Nordic music, our traditions and heritage, favorite travel destination Lofoten Islands, a mind-bending spiritual adventure? Beautiful Norway, birthplace of our ancestors, is in our blood memory.
