While the spring sun heats up individual slopes, it can be quite wintry elsewhere.

People in the Eastern and Southern can relax and enjoy the weather all week. But even though the first summer months have started, sunshine and warmth has not yet begun.

In the south and east the weather is to stay nice and summery until next week and weekend is great to go for a walk on the trails and to listening to birds chirp.

Slush in the elevtions and on the coast in the north

“It is not very summery in the north. On the contrary – it may be a little wintry” said state meteorologist Haakon Melhuus.

Thursday and Saturday there will be squall weather and colder in northern Norway, Central Norway and the west coast north of Boknafjorden” says Melhuus.

This weekend, temperatures reach 4-5 degrees in Troms and Finnmark. This means that the precipitation will not only come as slush in the mountains, but perhaps also on the coast.

The heat spread from the southeast

“Eastern Norway in the beginning period was good. The nice weather is spreading gradually northwards,” alerts Melhuus.

Beginning Saturday it will be fine with stable weather in western and north to the southern parts of Nordland. A little inland to the west to the thermometer creep over the 20’s and give a taste of summer.
