Torske Klubben awards fellowships

The Minneapolis Men’s Torske Klubben awarded five fellowship grants totaling $80,000 for the 2018-2019 academic year, providing support to graduate students with high academic achievement showing promise for becoming leaders in their chosen profession. The award of fellowship funds has been an annual Torske Klubben event since 1946. Each recipient was awarded $16,000 toward pursuit of an advanced degree at the University of Minnesota. All fellowship recipients were Norwegian or of Norwegian-American heritage.
