The King’s Guard visits the US
The Band of His Majesty the King’s Guard is visiting the US between April 23rd and May 10th. Several of their performances are open to the public.
The King’s Guard Band will give concerts and present drill performances in Norfolk, Virginia Beach and in Washington DC.
In Virginia Beach the Band will parade through the streets, and end up at the statue of “The Norwegian Lady”, where they will give a concert and place a wreath.
In Washington there will be a concert and drill by the King’s Guard at the U.S. Navy Memorial, as well as at the Lincoln Memorial, Lincoln Memorial Circle.
They will also participate in the Twilight Tattoo at Fort McNair.
On May 8th His Majesty the King’s Guard will be at Arlington Cemetery to lay down a wreath at the Tomb of the unknown soldier.
