Many good Norwegian

All names of the festival is not yet entirely clear. Now it does not appear to be the largest band a-ha.
“It is of course a name that we have discussed, but this year we have chosen to focus on the young artists from Norway. Everything is not locked and I will not deny anything, but right now a-ha is not in our plans, although I see that it could become a real popfest at Roskilde this summer, “said Stefan Gjesing.
Awaiting 10,000 Norwegians
He said that ticket sales so far this year is the best in the last decade.
The festival expects approx. 10,000 Norwegians down to Roskilde, which takes maximum 75,000 visitors. Other new artists include The Prodigy, Patti Smith, Paramore, The National, LCD Soundsystem and veteran Van Dyke Parks.
Already include Them Crooked Vulture, Muse and Gorillaz are clear.
“We are especially proud of the Gorillaz. They make their only festival gig in Europe at Roskilde. It will be something special, “says Stefan Gjesing.
