Statnett CEO: Norway Has Huge Wind Power Potential

The chief executive of Norway’s electricity network operator Statnett said Norway could be a significant wind power generator, but added the country’s grid needs improvements to realize that potential.
Speaking to Dow Jones Newswires, Auke Lont said: “The northern part of Norway is the best place to put windmills. There’s steady, not too extreme wind. But that potential isn’t worth much if there’s no grid.”
