Seminar on acive management of the Government Pension Fund Global

The Norwegian Ministry of Finance is arranging a seminar on 20 January 2010 regarding the future role of active management of the Government Pension Fund Global. Follow the seminar live on web-TV.
In 2009 the Ministry of Finance announced a broad evaluation of active management of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global. It was announced that the Ministry had asked the consulting firm Mercer Ltd. and an international group consisting of Professors Andrew Ang (Columbia Business School), Stephen Schaefer (London Business School) and William N. Goetzmann (Yale School of Management) to prepare reports on the use of active management of the Government Pension Fund Global.
The Ministry has invited independent experts to comment on the reports. The seminar will be held at Oslo Plaza from 11.00-17.00. Detailed program is available here.
