The Swedish coastguard has located and identified the wreck of the 2,550 dwt Langeland, but found no trace of the crew.
The 38-year-old vessel was loaded with rocks and en-route to Norway when it disappeared during a heavy storm last Friday in the Skagerrak.
The wreck has been located 300 m from its last know position in the Koster Fjord. The ship was located Sunday August 2 with the help of a remote controlled mini-sub equipped with cameras.
The chances of finding any of the six crew alive are adjudged to be very slight due to the depth and the duration of time since the accident.
