Scandinavian Fest in Charlotte, North Carolina

Presented by The Scandinavian American General Assembly (SAGA), the 6th Annual ScanFest of the Carolinas in Charlotte will take place at the Wachovia Atrium in North Carolina on Nov. 7.

SAGA welcomes you to be part of the 6th Annual ScanFest of the Carolinas 10:00am to 5:00pm on November 7th.

The Vikings, ScanDans, Triangle Spelmanslag, Taste of Scandinavia, Café Scandinavia, history, culture, crafters and music will fill Wachovia Atrium in Charlotte’s Uptown this fall. The whole place will once again be transformed into a microcosm of Scandinavia at its best during an all-day celebration of the Nordic Countries.

Highlights of this year’s festival include Victor Borge: A Centennial Celebration, Country Exhibits: The history of Folklore and costume design, For Kids: Little Mermaid and Viking look-a-like contest as well as LEGO creation contest, Folk Music and Dance, the Viking Village, and more.

Admission: $5 per family or $2 per individual.

SAGA members admitted FREE of charge.
