The right-wing Progress Party (FrP) has suffered a decline in all polls taken in April. The party is supported by an average 18.9 percent of voters, compared with 22.2 percent in March, NRK reports.
The polls in April also show that for the first time since July 2010, the Conservative Party (Høyre) and FrP would not have achieved a joint majority in Parliament (Stortinget) if the average of the polls had been the election results.
The winner of the April polls is the Liberal Left Party (Venstre), with an average of 5.3 percent, up 1.2 points from 4.1 percent in March.
Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg’s Labor Party is supported by 29.3 percent of those asked, up 1.1 points from March. The Conservative Party is now the second largest, with the support of 27 percent, a decline of 0.2 points from March. The Socialist Left also declined by 0.2 points, to 5.8 percent.
The Agrarian Party (Senterpartiet) is up from 4.9 percent in March to 5.3 percent in April. The Christian Democrat Party (KrF) is also up, from 4.4 percent in March to 5 percent in April.
