Production of el-car Think may resume
The production of the Norwegian el-car Think may now be resumed, after more than NOK 250 million in fresh capital has been made available to the manufacturer in Aurskog.
The new funds have been made available by both present and new investors, according to Dagens Næringsliv.
The manufacturer of Think has incurred debts total of NOK 280 million, and a new round of debt negotiation will have to be completed before production may be resumed, the paper writes.
Think designs, develops, manufactures and markets environmentally friendly vehicles and technologies. Think has been developing and producing urban mobility solutions since the early 1990’s. In 2008, the company launched the TH!NK city, the latest generation electric vehicle designed and engineered by Think. Think vehicles are designed to be smart, flexible and continuously updated to deliver state-of-the-art urban mobility. The company operates production facilities in Aurskog, Norway with a plant capacity of 5,000 units per shift (max. 16,000 units/year).
