Palmer Johnson acquired the Norwegian shipyard Flekkefjord Slipp & Maskinfabrikk in 2008. With a 75 year history of shipbuilding, the yard is one of a handful worldwide with experience in building complex seismic, research and exploration vessels with specialist expertise in noise and vibration management.
The 82m PJ World long-range cruiser is the first Palmer Johnson vessel to be constructed in Norway in conjunction with Rolls Royce Marine.
