Bookings for ONS 2010, Norway’s big oil and gas trade show in Stavanger, are beating all previous records. Next year ONS is strengthening its focus on the environment.

On April 2 the foundation’s CEO Kjell Ursin-Smith said companies appear to understand the need to exchange experiences, seek out partners and expand business networks in leaner financial times.

“Never before has the demand for exhibition space been greater than that which we are currently experiencing for ONS 2010,” Ursin-Smith said in a statement.

With eighteen months before the doors open, nearly all exhibition halls are already fully booked. “Now is the time the reserve space,” he hinted.

The Big Show opens on 24 August 2010 and appears to already be sporting an environment theme. Past themes have been “energy bridge”, “renewables” and “one world”.
