Norwegian skiers win gold, silver and bronze at World Cup

Norway's Pål Golberg won the bronze medal in the cross-country classical sprint at the Skiing World Cup in Lahti, Finland.
Norwegian duo Eirik Brandsdal and Pål Golberg (in photo) won silver and bronze medals respectively in the cross-country classical sprint at the FIS World Cup in Lahti, Finland, on Sunday. Sweden’s Emil Joensson won gold.
Norway’s Petter Northug did not participate in the Lahti races.
Meanwhile, in the women’s sprint race, Norway’s three-time Olympic champion Marit Bjoergen won gold and compatriot Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen silver. Petra Majdic of Slovenia secured the bronze medal.
