Norway’s Q3 consumer confidence jumps

OSLO, Sept 8 (Reuters) – A Norwegian consumer confidence index rose in the third quarter to 11.7 points, up from a revised 0.5 in the second quarter, the Savings Banks Association said on Tuesday.

The seasonally and trend-adjusted index of consumer confidence for the second quarter was revised up from a negative 3.7 points. A negative reading implies there are more pessimists than optimists.
