OSLO, Norway: Aluminum and power generation group Norsk Hydro ASA on Wednesday warned that its fourth quarter profits would be hit by a 3.5 billion kroner ($515 million) write-off of assets and inventories as demand for its products deteriorated amid the economic crisis.
