Norway seeks probe of DNO share sale to Kurds

OSLO, Sept 24 (Reuters) – Norway’s financial sector watchdog Kredittilsynet said on Thursday it has asked the police to probe a sale of own shares by oil producer DNO International involving, among others, the Kurdish authorities.

‘From the presented information, the Financial Supervisory Authority has found it best to pass the case to the police’s economic crimes unit for closer evaluation,’ Kredittilsynet said in a statement.
