Norway PM: re-election ‘within reach’ despite crisis

OSLO, Aug 4 (Reuters) – Norway’s centre-left coalition government said on Tuesday that victory in next month’s parliamentary election was ‘within reach’ and pledged to spend the country’s oil wealth prudently to limit hardship.
Kicking off the election campaign, Labor Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg said the economic crisis was far from over but the situation of workers in Norway was nevertheless ‘better than in all other European countries.’
