OSLO – THE Norwegian economy emerged from recession in the second quarter, official data showed on Thursday, boosted by household and government expenditure.
Norway’s mainland GDP, which excludes the lucrative oil and gas sectors and the shipping industry, grew by 0.3 per cent in the three months to June.
