Norway condemns terrorist attack in Iran
Norway condemns the suicide attack in Sistan-Baluchistan province, in south-eastern Iran, in which 57 people lost their lives. “This is a very tragic situation,” said Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
Fifty-seven people were killed and more than 150 injured in the suicide attack, which took place on October 18. The UN Security Council, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the EU have all condemned the attack.
“Norway deeply deplores this terrorist act. I wish to express our sympathy for those who were injured or lost loved ones in the attack,” said the Foreign Minister.
