Want to be part of our team? We’re looking for an intern to work up to 20 hours a week in our Seattle office. This is a PAID internship.

Duties:

• help with content for the Norwegian American Weekly, writing or otherwise sourcing at least 1-2 articles per week

• select news stories in Norwegian for our Nyheter fra Norge page

• upload content to blog: edit photos as needed (Photoshop), work in InDesign to pull content and design ads

• help with subscriptions and other office work

Required Qualifications:

• ability to read and write Norwegian; interest in and familiarity with Norwegian culture

• excellent English writing skills

• WordPress expert

• knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop

• Mac proficient

Desired Qualifications:

• interest in journalism

• knowledge of and/or passion for sports and/or cooking
