NATO exercises outside Northern Norway

  From Feb. 8 - 19 NATO will be conducting their 11th annual large-scale explosives clearance exercise outside the coast of Northern Norway.  The exercise, called EODEX (Explosives Ordnance Disposal Exercise), includes personnel from ten countries: Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Estonia and Turkey. This is the fifth time Norway has been involved.  This is the fifth time Olavsvern Naval Base, located outside Tromsø - above the Arctic Circle, takes part in the project.
