The people at the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas were not fooled one bit by the band claiming to be “a young band from Norway.”

Fans lined up all day outside a club that holds 2,100 people for the chance to see Metallica in an intimate setting.

Metallica were in town to promote the video game “Guitar Hero: Metallica.”

Singer James Hetfield says they did the small show because they always support live music.

He says, “We’ve been road dogs since the day after high school.”
