Max Manus in Toronto — Film Review

Norwegian directors Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg’s Max Manus had its North American première at a gala screening during the 34th Toronto International Film Festival, which runs between Sept. 10-19.

“Bottom Line: Solid and convincing, if pedestrian, World War II story that has its moments,” writes Peter Brunette about Max Manus on Hollywoodreporter.com.

“The film is always engaging, from the boyish horseplay of the young innocents to the bravado shown in multiple encounters to the involvement of the revered king in exile to the final toll taken by the increasingly ruthless Nazis,” writes Brunette.
