Lundin Petroleum Strikes Oil At Norway Viper Prospect

Lundin Petroleum AB (LUPE.SK) Thursday said it has struck oil at the Viper prospect in the Norwegian North Sea.

The size of the find is estimated at between 5 million and 10 million barrels of recoverable oil. “It is likely that the discovery will be developed as a subsea tieback to the Alvheim floating production storage and offtake unit,” Lundin Petroleum said.
