Lillehammer rescues Trondheim events
The discovery of “technical problems” with the ski jump at Trondheim forced organizers to cancel the World Cup Nordic Combined and Ski Jumping events planned for the Norwegian city Dec. 4-6 as the hill was shut down while repairs are implemented. The organizers indicated it would take at least a week to get the facility ready for competition.
Lillehammer jumped to the rescue and will pick up the events, according to a release from FIS Nordic Combined media coordinator Egon Theiner.
