Norwegian hotel investors Arthur Buchardt, Anders Buchardt and Petter Stordalen are in final discussions to buy 49% in Hafjell Alpinanlegg skiing resort from financial services company DnB NOR (OSL:DNBNOR), ADP News said on 8 April 2009, citing Dagens Næringsliv (DN).

The purchase price is reportedly estimated at some NOK60m (USD 8.9m) (EUR 6.7m).

DnB NOR, which owns the resort since the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, has in the last few years worked to decrease its ownership. Currently, Hafjell is Norway’s third biggest skiing resort.

Hafjell is a complete alpine ski centre with a varied selection of runs. The centre is located 15 kilometres from Lillehammer.
