Norway major Metamfetamine market
This is shown by the annual report from the European Monitoring for (EMCDDA) which was presented on Thursday. The report provides the latest European data and commentary on the drug situation across the 27 EU Member States, Croatia, Turkey and Norway.
No European country confiscates larger amounts of amfetamine than Norway, according to Aftenposten.
“Usage is increasing year by year. This is a disquieting development,” says Jørgen Bramness of the Norwegian Centre for Addiction Research (SERAF).
SERAF is one of the eight specialist units making up the Institute of Psychiatry at the University of Oslo. The Centre was founded as a successor to the former Unit for Addiction Medicine and its principal focus is on clinically relevant drug research. SERAF will also provide tutoring and instruction for post-graduate students.
