Påskris with Kari Tauring

March 29

Make a traditional Passover Switch at this one-hour long program. Offered both online and in-person!

The day after Palm Sunday is called Svartmåndag (Black Monday) in the Scandinavian Easter Week. Learn about this and other Scandinavian Easter lore/stories as you make a traditional Påskris or Passover Switch. These switches are made from freshly cult pussy willows, but you can use what ever branches you might have around you. On them are glued or tied colorful feathers, pom poms, eggs, witches, and other Scandinavian Easter symbols.
