ONLINE: Vesterheim Bokprat (Book Club): From Day to Day, One Man’s Diary of Survival in Nazi Concentration Camps by Odd Nansen
September 14 @ 7:00 pm - 8:15 pm
Dr. Maren Johnson, Luther College’s Associate Professor of Nordic Studies and Torgerson Center for Nordic Studies Director, facilitates a monthly bokprat, discussing Scandinavian authors and Scandinavian life. Join us for a conversation about Odd Nansen’s From Day to Day: One Man’s Diary of Survival in Nazi Concentration Camps. Secretly documenting his three-and-a-half-year internment, Nansen provides readers with a unique examination of the cruel existence in the camp. Don’t hesitate to contact Andrew Ellingsen, Folk Art Coordinator, with any questions you may have (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Supplies: A computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection.
