ONLINE: Nordic Meatballs Three Ways

two plates of Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, lingonberries, and cucumbersJoin celebrated Nordic cookbook author and food historian Patrice Johnson (AKA the Nordic Food Geek) to explore the rich tradition of Nordic-style meatballs! We’ll make Swedish köttbulle, Danish kødboller, and vegan meatballs as we dive into one of Scandinavia’s most iconic dishes. This Vesterheim cooking class is designed as a small-group cook-along and we invite exchange between the instructor and students in order to build community around food traditions. In this same spirit of sharing, we invite the whole family to experience this collaborative cooking and learning process. Only one registration is needed per household. Participants will be provided with a shopping list and recipes prior to class.

The listed class time includes one live Zoom on Wednesday, December 1 (5:30 – 7:00pm CT).

Supplies: A computer, laptop, or tablet with a camera and mic as well as a fast, reliable internet connection. You will be sent the recipes with the ingredients list and class preparation approximately one week before the class in order to prepare.

Special Instructions: When registering for the class, please make sure to use the email address you’d like the Zoom meeting invitations sent to. You will receive links to the Zoom sessions by email sometime during the week prior to the class.
