ONLINE: 12th Annual Nordic Lights Film Festival
March 7 - March 13
The Nordic Lights Film Festival is devoted to showcasing Nordic cinema—this year virtually!
For over a decade, the National Nordic Museum has offered NLFF to Seattle audiences as an avenue to experience Nordic cinema in all its forms. The festival gives us the opportunity to share the richness and diversity of the Nordic cultures through the lens of film.
Due to the pandemic this year’s festival will be virtual. This does not mean that they won’t be able to offer you an amazing line-up of contemporary award-winning films from all the Nordic countries. Read about the exciting films here.
As always, our festival includes a great selection of Nordic shorts. This year we are also thrilled to present a new partnership: NFFTY (National Film Festival for Talented Youth) will join the festival with a shorts program that includes emerging filmmakers from Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. These filmmakers will also participate in a virtual panel discussion. More information about the panel will be available here soon.
