Nordic Stories: The Son of the Sun and the Daughter of the Moon
October 7 @ 10:00 am - 10:30 am
Join the National Nordic Museum for their thirteenth year of Nordic Stories, geared toward preschool aged children and their grown-ups. Held on-site the 1st Thursday of every other month, this program features children’s stories from the Nordic countries, along with fun craft projects. This is a free program, no reservations needed. Please note: This program is not intended for large groups.
This month’s book is the Sámi folktale, The Son of the Sun and the Daughter of the Moon. When the fiery sun demands the moon’s daughter as a bride for his son, the moon hides the child with a kindly old couple on a remote island. Join us for Nordic Stories to hear what happens next!
