Eriksen Translations opens West Coast office and adds business development expertise
Eriksen Translations, a leading provider of multilingual services, is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in San Diego, CA, and the addition of two new business development managers to Eriksen’s team.
Following the incorporation of Eriksen’s production center in Córdoba, Argentina in 2009, this expansion will provide new and existing clients worldwide, particularly those on the West Coast and in Asia and the Pacific Rim, with greater access to the comprehensive support and expertise for which the company is known.
Mark Bockhold, who heads up the new Southern California location, joins Eriksen from translation provider Logoscript, following several years with Cyracom. With over a decade of healthcare experience and hands-on expertise providing consultation and training to clients in healthcare, government, life sciences, and technology, he brings a deep understanding of the localization challenges clients face and how to solve them effectively.
Santiago Cuartas, who is based at Eriksen’s Brooklyn headquarters, comes to Eriksen from Tek Translation International and Translations.com. Having worked in both production and account management, in addition to business development, he brings a keen understanding of the specific localization priorities of clients in the technology, finance, and life sciences industries and how to tailor solutions to best address their business requirements.
“With our West Coast expansion and the addition of these two industry veterans to our team we are providing greater value to our clients, offering an even higher level of customer service and flexibility than before,” said Vigdis Eriksen, president and CEO of Eriksen Translations. “Mark and Santiago both bring an attention to detail and commitment to clients’ needs that is vital as we continue to grow rapidly.”
