DnB NOR still on the DJSI World sustainability index

DnB NOR has been included in the Dow Jones World Sustainability Index (DJSI World) for the second year in a row. The bank is still among the best in its sector within sustainable development.

DJSI World consists of the world’s leading companies in sustainability. From a group comprised of the 2 500 largest companies worldwide, the top ten per cent are selected after a thorough evaluation of economic, environmental and social factors.

“It is very positive for DnB NOR’s corporate reputation that the company is included in the prestigious index. We are still the only Nordic bank on the list,” says Hilde Røed in External Relations.

The index is an important tool for investors and other stakeholders who wish to evaluate companies’ non-financial factors. Norwegian companies in the index include DnB NOR, Hydro, Statoil, Telenor and Storebrand.
