DnB NOR makes donations to Haiti

In connection with the earthquake catstrophe in Haiti, DnB NOR has decided to make donations to some of the organisations working in the country. “In such a situation, it is important to demonstrate corporate social responsibility,” says Dag Arne Kristensen, head of External Relations in DnB NOR.

DnB NOR has made the following donations:

NOK 50,000 to the Norwegian Red Cross

NOK 50,000 to UNICEF

USD 10,000 to the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund

NOK 50,000 to Médecins Sans Frontières

Payments by DnB NOR’s Norwegian customers to disaster-relief accounts can now be made free of charge.
