Cross-Country Skiing: Bjørgen aims for Olympic hat-trick

Norway’s Marit Bjørgen admits she will have her work cut out on Friday as she bids to win her third medal of the Olympic Winter Games in the women’s 15km cross-country pursuit.

The 29-year-old won gold on Wednesday in the sprint final having won bronze in the 10km freestyle last Monday, but many of the names she has already battled at Whistler Olympic Park will feature again. World Cup overall leader Justyna Kowalczyk of Poland is sure to be amongst the favourites having taken silver behind Bjørgen in the pursuit on Wednesday.
