A total of six fire engines were sent to an outlying area of Fløysvik in Sandnes municipality after it has broken out a fire in scrub, heather and forest.
There is no direct way right up to the fire, and fire crews have not yet come to the fire. According to fire department in Southern Rogaland, there are several cabins in the area, which may be in danger if the fire spreads.
