With generous support from Arnold Rasmussen, the Karmöy Club, Nordic Heritage Museum, and the Norwegian American Foundation are proud to bring you a concert by Ole Morten Velde and Erlend Hetterud at the Nordic Heritage Museum on May 14 at 7 p.m. This concert features music from Norway’s finest musicians, and is open to the public with a suggested $10 donation at the door. A special thanks to Sharmon Cooper and Olav Kvamme at the Nordic Heritage Museum.

Erlend Hetterud
Pianist Erlend Hetterud is from Bergen, Norway. He has a bachelor degree from the Grieg Academy, where he specialized in piano accompaniment and historic performance practice. He has played at all the major venues of Bergen, and has also appeared at a chamber music festival in Provence, France, as both a soloist and an accompanist.

Ole Morten Velde
Vocalist Ole Morten Velde is from Haugesund, Norway. His education in music started at the Grieg Academy in Bergen where he completed his Bachelor in the summer of 2008 with the highest grade on his bachelor exam concert. He is now studying for his masters at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, with Margrete Enevold as his main voice teacher. He has recently been accepted into the Opera Academy in Copenhagen and will start his studies there the fall of 2010.
