Barneblad: ORDSUPPE, a game for the entire family
Have you even looked into a bowl of alphabet soup and wondered what words are there in the mixture? Sometimes you might even look into your spoon to see what you can find …
Ordsuppe—“Word Soup”—is a lot of fun for the entire family. You can play it alone or with others, as you search for words in your soup mixture.
While it’s summertime and not too many of us are standing over a hot stove making soup, this month’s Barneblad makes things a bit easier with our own version of this popular game.
And our version is even more fun, because you will be looking for Norwegian words. In our “word soup” mixture below, you will find the words somewhere.
In total, there are 11 Norwegian words to find. And the great thing is that you will understand most or all of these words, because they are exactly the same in English or very similar. Take some time to think about the words and what they mean. And yes, there is an extra bonus — you are learning Norwegian as you play!
There are many ways to play this game. You can work with a friend to solve the puzzle, or you can print out an extra copy, start searching at the same time, and see who finishes first. One thing is for sure: you are going to have fun!
