Monica Jangaard is curator of Troldhaugen, Edvard Grieg’s villa in Bergen, Norway. Troldhaugen is now a museum dedicated to preserving the memory of Norway’s great composer. Her responsibilities include curating the permanent exhibition at Troldhaugen, managing outreach projects in the public schools, and making public presentations to various audiences. She is secretary of the International Edvard Grieg Society and is on the staff of the International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition, which is a program of the museum.
