Norwegian singing sensation nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Song

The song, “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2, featuring Bergen-based artist Aurora Aksnes, known simply as AURORA, has been nominated for Best Song in this year’s Oscars.
Disney credits AURORA’s role in Frozen 2, where her voice is heard both in the song and in the film itself, as “The Voice” (“The Mountains’ Voice” in the Norwegian version of the film).
“You are not a voice, you are a ringing in my ears,” sings Idina Menzel as Elsa to the mystical siren-song, sung by AURORA.
The song is nominated in the category of Best Original Song. It was written by the songwriting duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
