Norwegian musician Jarle Bernhoft made his American TV debut on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Sept. 27.

“My producers showed me your Youtube video, and I was just blown away, it’s very very impressive,” said Ellen DeGeneres on her show on Wednesday morning.

Bernhoft, wearing his trademark big plastic glasses and a pink shirt under his jacket, joked playfully with DeGeneres during their chat. His live performance went very well.

The producers of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” discovered the Norwegian star on YouTube, and he was invited to perform on the popular talk show.
September 27 was Bernhoft’s debut. Jarle Bernhoft, whom the show’s web site presented as “the one-man band and the YouTube sensation,” performed his hit single “C’mon Talk.” It impressed both the experienced talk show host and the audience.
After Bernhoft performed the song with his extraordinary technique, Ellen DeGeneres stood up, waved her arms and exclaimed: “What about that?”
The audience was clearly taken with the Norwegian musician, and stood up to give him a spontaneous standing ovation.
On Ellen’s website, where a video of the performance can be seen, it states: “You are going to sing the song for days and wonder how he did it even further,” it says, with reference to Bernhoft very special performance.
