Air Services Negotiations with Iraq and Turkey
Norway will together with Denmark and Sweden have air services negotiations with Iraq on 26 – 27 October and with Turkey on 5 – 6 November.
The negotiations with Turkey were originally scheduled for the end of June this year but have for different reasons been pushed back to the beginning of November.
The main purpose of these negotiations is to liberalize the Air Services Agreements that each of the Scandinavian countries have with Iraq and Turkey, respectively, writes the Norwegian Government on its website.
It will also be important to bring the respective bilateral Air Services Agreements between the parties in conformity with EU/EEA law, the government reports.
