Norway’s ski team is led by Aksel Lund Svindal, a two-time overall World Cup champion who is capable of winning races in all of the four alpine skiing disciplines (Downhill, Super-G, Giant Slalom, Super Combined).

Despite his incredible success on the racing circuit, he is incredibly grounded and has a self-deprecating wit and an uncanny ability to shift the focus off his own talents to those of his friends, writes Ctvolympics.ca.
