Andreas Kofler won the ski jump contest in Innsbruck, and Anders Bardal came in fourth place. Once again, the weather was a deciding factor in the race.

Gregor Schlierenzauer secured a double victory for Austria, and still leads the Four Hills Tournament overall. But he lost the chance to win all four races.
Anders Bardal delivered a very good final jump under difficult conditions, and ended up 2.3 points from Taku Takeuchi’s place on the podium.
The Trøndelag man was happy after the race.
“This, I am very satisfied with. Fourth place is good, and it was very close. I hope and believe that I will have a place on the podium again before long,” he told NRK.
In two days, Bardal will have another chance at the podium in another competition.
“Yes, maybe. Anyway, if I jump like that again, I’ll be among the top, and the place on the podium will come,” Bardal told NRK.
Bardal currently holds fourth place overall.
“We have decided not to think too much about that,” he told NRK. “There are over ten points to go to get to the podium there, and if I start to dwell on it, it can go wrong. We’ll take one jump at a time,” said Bardal, who now looks forward to the last competition in Bishofshofen on Friday.
