Transnova official opened in Trondheim

The newly established environment organisation Transnova was officially opened in Trondheim, Norway on June 23.

Transnova was established as part of the Highway Directorate to help cut CO2 emissions from the transport industry. 

Norway’s ambitious plan is to be carbon-neutral by 2050.

More charging points for el-cars

The Norwegian government has allocated NOK 50 million in fresh funds to be used to provide new charging points for the growing number of electrically powered cars in the country.

The money will be channelled trough Transnova. 

Municpalities, building societies and other organisations will now be able to apply for funds earmarked for new charging points, reports Vårt Land.
