Latest Poll: New Low for the Conservatives

The latest poll from Sentio, made for Bergens Tidende, shows a historic low for the Conservative Party (Høyre). The party now has the support of only 13.4 per cent of the electorate, according to Sentio. The poll also shows a slight decline for Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg’s Labor Party, while there is a slight increase in voter support for the right-wing Progress Party, as well as for the Christian Democrats and the Liberal Left.

Labor’s coalition party Agrarians drop by one point to 4.3 per cent, while the other coalition party, the Socialist Left remain unchanged from the month before, at 6.8 per cent.

If this had been an election, the non-socialist opposition would have obtained an 86 seat majority in the Storting (Parliament) against 83 for the present coalition.
