May 16th is the opening date for this years ICFF fair in New York. ICFF – International Contemporary Furniture Fair – is an international furniture fair that during the four days the fair is open will have visitors and exhibitors from all over the world. This year, as last year, there will be Norwegian manufacturers present at the fair – together with Insidenorway.

ICFF is an important arena for manufacturers that wants to enter US markets, particularly the eastcoast. The fair holds a high international standard and a high level of design. This year, as for last year, there will be Norwegian manufacturers exhibiting at the fair. This year traditional chair maker Aksel Hansson will exhibit together with modern Variér Furniture at a joint booth under the auspices of Insidenorway. Insidenorway will also exhibit a few pieces from Fjordfiesta and Fora Form under the umbrella “Three By Two”.

The Norwegian booth covers almost 100square meters. Insidenorway’s new booth design was launched at IMM Cologne earlier this year and the design will be used in the project’s coming exhibitions. It is made to give the audience an impression of a snow white, fruit garden as the frame for Norwegian modern, contemporary and classic furniture design – designed to present the furniture in the best way possible.

Aksel Hansson will at the fair show their traditional Aksel Chairs in different varieties, in addition to a table that supplements the chairs. Varier Furniture will amongst other products show their popular Peel-chairs and the new Penguin chair designed by Peter Opsvik.
